1 Who we are

Tennset is a community app for tennis and padel players in Zürich, Switzerland, currently in pre-launch. The service is operated by:

We are the data controller for all personal data collected through this website and the waitlist sign-up form.

2 What data we collect and why

We currently collect only the data you give us when you join the waitlist. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools on this website.

• Email address — to send you one notification when the Tennset app launches in Zürich. Nothing else.
• First name (optional) — so we can address you personally in that one email.
• Consent record — a timestamp of when you agreed to be contacted, required by law.

We do not collect your location, device information, browsing behaviour, or any other personal data through this website.

3 Our legal basis for processing

Under the Swiss revDSG, we process your data on the basis of your freely given, specific, and informed consent — the checkbox you ticked when joining the waitlist. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 6 below). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew it.

4 How and where we store your data

Your waitlist data is stored securely with EmailOctopus, our email marketing provider. EmailOctopus is used solely for the purpose of sending you the launch notification you signed up for.

• Only Tennset has access to this data. It is not shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party.
• Access to the Tennset EmailOctopus account is protected by a strong password and biometric authentication (fingerprint).
• EmailOctopus stores data on infrastructure within the European Union and operates under GDPR-compliant data protection standards. For details, see EmailOctopus's Privacy Policy.

When the Tennset app launches, user account data will be hosted in a Swiss data centre, within Switzerland.

5 How long we keep your data

We keep your email address and name on our waitlist until one of the following happens:

• You unsubscribe (your data is deleted within 24 hours of the request — see Section 6).
• We have sent you the launch notification and a reasonable period has passed with no further activity.
• The Tennset project is discontinued, in which case we will notify you and delete all waitlist data.

We do not keep your data for longer than necessary.

6 Your rights

Under the Swiss revDSG, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. All of these are free to exercise and we will respond within 30 days.

7 Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, or analytics tools of any kind. We do not track your behaviour on this site. The only third-party script that runs is the EmailOctopus waitlist form, which activates only when you visit the sign-up page.

8 Children's privacy

Tennset is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their data through our waitlist, please contact us immediately at hello@tennset.com and we will delete it promptly.

9 Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we will notify everyone on the waitlist by email before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.

Minor changes (such as updated contact details or clarifications that do not affect your rights) may be made without individual notice.

10 Right to complain to a supervisory authority

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC):
